SUMMARY
Anamorph: not known.
Teleomorph: ascomata apothecia, 200-500 µm diam., cupulate to discoid, translucent to white, drying slightly yellowish, sessile, the hymenium granular due to protruding asci. Peridium in the medullary and basal areas composed of globose to angular slightly cyanophilous cells, becoming elongated at the margin and 12-15 X 6-7 µm in size. Interascal tissue of simple or branched filiform septate hyaline paraphyses ca 2 µm diam., enlarged to ca 2.5 µm diam. at the apices, without oil guttules. Asci 80-130 X 30-60 µm, broadly clavate, with a short stalk, dome-shaped above, the operculum prominent, 64-spored. Ascospores irregularly arranged, 8-12 x 4-7 µm, ellipsoidal, hyaline, thin-walled, each with one de Bary bubble, without a gelatinous sheath or perispore.
