SUMMARY
Anamorph: not known.
Teleomorph: ascomata apothecia, 200-500 µm diam., in dense clusters, initially obconical and becoming lens-shaped to convex, sessile, indistictly marginate, yellow, amber or pinkish, without hairs or setae. Peridium composed of globose to angular cells 6-20 µm in size, the walls 1.5-2.5 µm thick; marginal cells 12-18 x 5-11 µm, clavate. Interascal tissue of filiform branched paraphyses 1.5-2 µm diam., the apices sometimes irregularly curved, slightly swollen and 3.5-5.5 µm diam., sometimes encrusted with orange granules [Svrček 1976]. Asci 90-115 x 27-30 µm [70-90 x 22-25 µm; Svrček 1976], broadly clavate to cylindric-clavate, the apex rounded to ± truncate, tapering below, very short-stalked, the base bifurcate, the contents yellowish in iodine but without a blue reaction, 6- to 8-spored. Ascospores arranged biseriately, 15-18 x 10-11.5 µm, broadly ellipsoidal, hyaline, smooth, with or without a de Bary bubble.
