SUMMARY
Thallus grey to olive green but usually inconspicuous and endobiotic, soredia and isidia lacking, C–, P+ red (argopsin).
Anamorph: conidiomata pycnidia, conidia 9.5-13 µm in length.
Teleomorph: ascomata apothecia, discoid to shallowly convex, the disc grey to brownish grey (fresh material), grey-black to blue-black when dry, often with a paler, shallow margin when young. Hymenium 30-40 µm tall, hypothecium mottled green-black in K. Ascospores 7.5–14 × ca 3.5 µm, narrowly ellipsoidal, aseptate.
