General description:

Anamorph: not known.
Teleomorph: ascomata 125-150 µm diam., loosely gregarious in groups of 3-7, ostioles erumpent, long, cylindrical and straight to curved. Asci 55-60 x 7-8 µm. Ascospores possibly 15-17.5 µm long.
Wehmeyer regarded this as a doubtful species belonging with D. eres as authentic material was not available.
Associations:
On leaves of Magnolia.

Only one record. From England (Worcs).
