SUMMARY
Spermogonia and aecia not known.
Uredinia absent, urediniospores mixed with teliospores in young telia. Urediniospores 24-33 x 18-26 µm, slightly ornamented, with 6(-8) germ pores, with a hyaline papilla.
Telia amphigenous, in pale or yellow leaf spots, to 0.5 mm diam., often in concentric rings, long covered by the epidermis that splits to expose the powdery dark brown spores. Teliospores 18-32 x 14-22 µm, subglobose to broadly ellipsoidal, usually rounded and not thickened above, dark brown, the wall ca 1.5 µm thick, smooth, the pedicel hyaline, often deciduous.
