SUMMARY
Anamorph: synnemata 700-950 µm long and 60-80 µm diam. at the base, scattered or in clusters of 2-3, gradually tapering to ca 50 µm diam. below the head, hyaline, unbranched, smooth but some stipes with long divergent vegetative hyphae near the base, composed of thick-walled parallel hyaline hyphae ca 2.5 µm diam., without any ornamented cells. Fertile head 80-100 µm diam., hyaline, glossy, composed of ± repeatedly branched conidiophores with a slimy mass of conidia. Conidiophore branching biverticillate, metulae 12-18 x ca 1.5 µm. Conidiogenous cells in terminal whorls of 3-6, cylindrical, 10.5-16.5 µm long and 1-1.5 µm diam., proliferating percurrently, sometimes with an inconspicuously flared collarette, periclinal thickening ± conspicuous. Conidia 2.5-2.9 x 1.4-1.6 µm, cylindric-ellipsoidal, aseptate, hyaline, thin- and smooth-walled, without a gelatinous sheath.
