SUMMARY
Anamorph: conidiomata pycnidia, 130-160 µm diam., immersed in moribund lobes of the host thallus, becoming partially erumpent, subglobose, black, ostiolate. Conidiomatal wall composed of angular cells, the outer layer dark brown and thick-walled, the inner layer hyaline. Conidiophores absent. Conidiogenous cells subglobose to ampulliform, hyaline, arising from the innermost cell layer lining the pycnidial cavity, proliferation unclear. Conidia (12.5-) 15-19.5 x 2.5-3 µm, cylindric-fusiform, the broadest part often twoards the base, straight or sometimes curved, the base truncate and the apex obtuse, (1- or 2-) to 3-septate, yellowish-brown, smooth, without an epispore or gelatinous sheath.
