SUMMARY
Anamorph: Conidiomata absent. Conidiophores clearly distinguished from vegetative hyphae, synnematous. Synnemata to 175 µm tall and 50 µm diam, shining black, composed of parallel agglutinated unbranched hyphae ca 2 µm diam, diverging at the top to form a ± globose head. Conidiogenous cells formed singly at the apex of the conidiophore hyphae, ca 2.5 µm diam, cylindrical, not strongly differentiated, apparently not proliferating, with annellations and periclinal thickening not visible. Conidia formed in extended false chains within a mucous mass, 7-8.5 x 3.5-5 µm, cuneiform with the upper end broader, hyaline to pale brown, aseptate, smooth, without an individual gelatinous sheath or appendages.
Teleomorph: unknown.
