SUMMARY
Anamorph: conidiomata 60-100 µm diam., superficial, loosely aggregated, irregularly globose, non-ostiolate and apparently breaking apart irregularly at the apex to become ± cupulate, dark brown to black, developing from a basal stromatic cushion. Conidiomatal wall thin, composed of dark greenish irregularly shaped cells. Conidiophores not seen, the conidiogenous cells developing directly from a basal cushion of cells. Conidiogenous cells irregular in shape, 2.5-4 µm diam., proliferation not seen. Conidia 13.5-17.5 x 1-1.2 µm, filiform-cylindrical, usually slightly curved, the ends rounded, hyaline, aseptate, smooth, not guttulate, without a gelatinous sheath or appendages.
