Anamorph: not known.
Teleomorph: Ascostromata perithecial, brown to black, immersed in the host tissue. Interascal tissue absent. Asci 29-35 x 9-14 µm, 8-spored. Ascospores 10-13 x 4-4.5 µm, ± ellipsoidal, brown, 1-septate, constricted at the ± median septum, the lower cell sometimes slightly attenuated, the ends rounded.
