SUMMARY
Colonies forming a black coating of conidiophores over infected peduncles and fruits.
Anamorph: conidiomata absent. Conidiophores 4-6.5 µm diam., usually unbranched but occasionally irregularly branched, dark brown, septate, the fertile part slightly paler and narrower, elongate, irregularly geniculate and proliferating sympodially with conspicuous thickened black scars. Conidia 50-65 x 17-20 µm, usually not catenate, olivaceous to mid brown, ellipsoidal or ovoid with a conspicuous apical attenuation to ca 20 µm long, initially with 5-6 transverse septa and becoming muriform with 1-2 irregular and incomplete longitudinal septa, constricted at the septa when fully mature, ± smooth, without a gelatinous sheath or appendages.
Teleomorph: unknown.
