Description: 

Flavoplaca (Caloplaca) maritima, growing on concrete sea wall, Humber Estuary. The thallus is pale orange-yellow, uneven knobbly verrucose without any marginal lobes. F. marina has been much confused with F. maritima; the former has a deeper orange thallus and a suggestion of lobes ('marginal lobules').
