Description: 

Flavoplaca (Caloplaca) dichroa, growing on top of limestone headstone, Riseley churchyard, Bedfordshire. When apothecia are abundant and well-developed the production of blastidia is often suppressed. Material such as this, with abundant apothecia and inconspicuous blastidia have sometimes been mistaken for Athallia holocarpa or F. oasis.
