Description: 

Candelaria pacifica, the smaller lobe to the right, with a larger lobe of C. concolor to the left. In both cases the lower surface is shown. In C. concolor the lower surface is smooth and white with a distinct lower cortex (though a small portion has torn off on the lower left side. The lower surface of C. pacifica is arachnoid, greenish (due to the algae being visible from below) and in this case sorediate.
