Description:

Lecania erysibe, a few apothecia scraped from the top of a limestone gravestone, VC 30, Bedfordshire. The apothecia are fringed by minute, fragile blastidia. L. inundata has often been confused with L. erysibe but its thallus and thalline margins have small 'nodules' rather than fragile blastidia.
