Description: 

Lecania coeruleorubella, blastidiate thallus and apothecia with blastidiate margins. Blastidia have the appearance of soredia but they are not formed in distinct patches and are produced by budding from the thallus. They are often produced in short chains, each budded from the one below, but this may be difficult to observe.
