SUMMARY
Anamorph: conidiomata pycnidia, mostly singly in circular to elliptical leaf spots 0.8-1.5 mm diam. that initially have a pale centre surrounded by a narrow dark brown margin, the entire spot becoming grey-brown; 140-180 µm diam., subglobose to shallowly conical, sometimes eventually becoming cupulate, brown to black, immersed, the ostiole epiphyllous, becoming broad and irregular. Conidiomatal wall 12-15 μm thick, composed of an outer layer of pale brown angular cells, and an inner layer of compressed thin-walled, pale yellow cells. Conidiophores absent or consisting only of a single short cylindrical cell. Conidiogenous cells 8-12 (-14) × 2.5-6 μm, variable in shape, ± globose to broadly ampulliform, often with an elongate apical part, proliferating percurrently several times with distinct annellations, often also sympodially. Conidia (23-) 29-51 × 1.5-2 μm, filiform, straight or curved to flexuous, attenuated gradually to a narrowly pointed apex and narrowly truncate base, (0–) 1–3 (–4)-septate (septa very thin and easily overlooked), not constricted around the septa, hyaline, smooth.
Teleomorph: not known.
