Periconia byssoides  

Anamorph: conidiomata absent. Conidiophores not synnematous, 200-1400 µm long (occasionally up to 2 mm), 12-23 µm diam. at the base, 9-18 µm diam. immediately below the fertile head, with a subhyaline apical cell 12-26 µm long. Conidial heads 45-120 µm diam., conidiogenous cells polyblastic, ± spherical. Conidia in branched chains, 10-15 µm diam., brown, distinctly verrucose.
Teleomorph: not known.
