SUMMARY
Anamorph: not known.
Teleomorph: ascomata apothecia, to 1.2 mm diam., with a fimbriate margin. Hymenium yellowish to pale orange. Outer and inner layers of apothecium composed of intertwined hyphal tissue, with marginal tissues of parallel hyphae extending above the level of the hymenium. Interascal tissue of straight or gently curved unbranched paraphyses, clavate at the apices to 5-8 µm diam. Asci 150-210 x 15-22 µm, cylindrical, short-stalked, quite thick-walled but not fissitunicate, the apex rounded and operculate, 8-spored. Ascospores arranged uniseriately, (14-) 14,5-16.5 (-17) x 12.5-13.5 (-14) µm, broadly ellipsoidal to subglobose, with a large oil droplet 9-11 µm in diam., hyaline, verrucose, the ornamentation composed of regularly spaced non-coalescent hemispherical bulges 0.5-1 µm in diam.; without a gelatinous sheath or appendages.
