SUMMARY
Anamorph: conidiomata appearing like insect frass, 45-50 µm diam., ± globose, sometimes minutely papillate with an ostiole 10-15 µm diam., the lower part mid brown, the upper part black and ± verrucose, composed of irregularly shaped cells 4-6 µm diam., the outer wall very strongly melanized. Conidiogenous cells in a palisade lining the whole conidioma, 3-5 x 1.5-2 µm, ± ampulliform, proliferating percurrently. Conidia 2.8-3.5 x 1-1.5 µm, bacillar, aseptate, hyaline, smooth- and thin-walled.
