Family: Unknown familyGenus: Minutoexcipula
SUMMARY
Anamorph: Conidiomata sporodochia, 30–100(–150) μm diam , superficial, rounded to irregular, at first flat to slightly concave, convex and wart-like when mature, scattered or rarely confluent, dark brown to black. Basal stroma formed of 3–4 irregular layers of isodiametric to irregularly polyhedral cells 10–20 μm diam, forming an exciple-like structure at the margins, with elongated, swollen, dark brown, unevenly thickened and more intensely pigmented tips. Conidiophores mainly absent in the central part of the conidioma but present at the margins, (6–)10–11(–15) × 2.5–4.5 μm, erect, septate, formed of prismatic cells 3–5 μm diam, lower part brown, upper part paler, cylindrical, usually constricted at the septa, unbranched or occasionally branched and bearing 2(–3) conidiogenous cells at the apex. Conidiogenous cells 3–4.5 × 3–5 μm, subcylindrical to subglobose or very shortly ampulliform, proliferating percurrently with 0–2(–3) widely spaced annellations, pale brown, smooth. Conidia 5–6(–7) × 2.5–4 μm, dry, initially aseptate, pale brown to brown, smooth, mostly ellipsoidal to obpyriform with the apex rounded and truncated base, 1-septate, when mature the upper cell sometimes swollen and the lower attenuated, septum dark brown, walls darker near the septum, without a gelatinous sheath.
Teleomorph: not known.
