SUMMARY
Colonies delimited, erumpent through the upper cortex of the host or sometimes almost superficial, coral to bright pink, convex and translucent. Bulbils 80-250 µm diam. ± ellipsoidal, densely compacted into a translucent and sometimes almost corticate mass which is often constricted basally, the masses arising singly or aggregated into small, sometimes confluent groups; composed of chains of large ± spherical to elongate cells 5-12 x 3.5-7 µm in size.
Anamorph: sporodochia 100-500 µm diam., with cells 6-10 µm diam. Conidiophores developing at the surface of the sporodochia, 15-35 x 3-9 µm, septate or not, ellipsoidal, clavate or ± cylindrical. Conidiogenous cells 9-11 x 4-9 µm, proliferation irregular and often absent. Conidia 11-15 x 7-10 µm, ellipsoidal to clavate with a broad base, hyaline, aseptate.
Teleomorph: not known.
