Anamorph: conidiomata pycnothyria, 120-200 µm diam., strongly flattened, opening with radial splits. Upper wall composed of a single layer of dark brown radially arranged brick-like angular cells, many strongly occluded, the outer edge not hyphal in construction. Lower wall apparently absent. Conidiophores absent. Conidiogenous cells ? doliiform, conidiogenesis obscure. Conidia 3.8-4.6 x 1.5-1.8 µm, bacillar, aseptate, hyaline, thin-walled, smooth, usually with two polar guttules, without an epispore or gelatinous sheath. Teleomorph: not known.
