SUMMARY
Thallus poorly delimited, white or grey.
Anamorph: conidiomata pycnidial, conidia 2-4 × 1.5 μm.
Teleomorph: ascomata apothecia, 0.2-0.5 mm diam., sessile, convex. Thalline exciple at first entire, becoming excluded. Disc pale to dark brown, often black-dotted due to darkened paraphyses-tips; exciple of radiating hyphae. Hymenium 35-55 μm tall. Interascal tissue of paraphyses, lax in K, apices swollen and brown-black. Ascospores 8-15 × 3-4.5 μm, often guttulate and appearing 1-septate.
Chemistry: Thallus C–, K–, KC–, Pd–, UV– (no lichen substances detected by t.l.c.).
