SUMMARY
Anamorph: not known.
Teleomorph: ascomata apothecia 200-700 µm diam., 250-400 µm high, obconical to cupulate, yellowish to orange, setose, gregarious, sessile. Disc flat, orange, without a distinct margin. Setae arising superficially from the lower and median parts of the fruit body, stiff, straight, hyaline, pointed, slightly swollen at the base, 100-450 µm long, 10-25 µm diam. at the widest part. Ectal excipulum 9-11 µm thick, composed of 3-4 layers of lobed, horizontally oriented cells 7-15 x 3-8 µm in size. Medullary excipulum of hyaline, thin-walled, narrow cells. Subhymenium inconspicuous. Hymenium containing multiple asci, 200-220 µm thick, not staining in iodine. Interascal tissue of simple or branched paraphyses, hyaline, filiform, septate, slightly inflated at their apices to 3-4.5 µm diam. Asci 90-140 x 20-27 (-35) µm, broadly clavate, rounded above, abruptly constricted below, short-stalked, 8-spored. Ascospores arranged irregularly biseriately, 19-22 x10-13.5 (- 15) µm, ellipsoidal to cylindric-ellipsoidal, rounded at both ends, hyaline to subhyaline, smooth-walled, with a conspicuous deBary bubble, without a gelatinous sheath or appendages.
