SUMMARY
Anamorph: not known.
Teleomorph: ascomata apothecia, to ca 200 µm diam., very short-stalked or almost sessile, pale cream to pale orange or greenish yellow, appearing gelatinous, translucent, glabrous, the excipulum composed of thin-walled tissue with elongate cells to ca 5 µm diam. with the exposed wall minutely verrucose. Interascal tissue of broad thin-walled paraphyses with the apices sometimes swollen to ca 3 µm diam. and covered with a yellowish exudate. Asci 26-37 x 6-7 µm, cylindrical, fairly thick-walled but not fissitunicate, the apex rounded and the base almost sessile, broad and with croziers, 8-spored. Ascospores irregularly arranged, (6-) 7-9 x 2.5-3 µm, fusiform to cylindric-fusiform, thin-walled, hyaline, aseptate, without a gelatinous sheath or appendages.
