Anamorph: unknown.
Teleomorph: stromata absent. Ascomata 160-270 µm diam., neck central 200-400 x 25-40 µm and straight but laterally flattened when dry, initially immersed but later becoming erumpent and appearing superficial and sometimes becoming detatched, showing cupulate collapse on drying. Peridium 8-22 µm thick, composed of 2-3 layers of cells. Interascal tissue absent. Asci 25-36 x 4.5-7 µm, ± narrowly ellipsoidal, 8-spored. Ascospores 16-22 x ca 1 µm, near filiform, straight, septum median, not constricted at the septum, with appendages, each cell containing some small guttules, lying in parallel within the ascus.
