SUMMARY

Anamorph: unknown.
Teleomorph: stromata absent. Ascomata 150-350 µm diam, neck central, 250-650 x 40-90 µm and straight or curved. Peridium 10-15 µm thick, composed of 2-4 layers of slightly compressed cells. Interascal tissue absent. Asci 41-58 x 6.5-10 µm, 8-spored. Ascospores 13-22 x 3-4.5 µm, cylindrical with rounded ends to narrowly ellipsoidal, septum median, with appendages that are often long, thin and pointed, each cell containing 2-3 or more guttules.
