Anamorph: unknown.
Teleomorph: Ascostromata 0.5-2.5 x 0.25-0.3 mm, occasionally appearing strongly incurved towards the longitudinal slit due to fusion of two (or rarely more) fruit-bodies. Peridium 80-100 µm thick. Interascal tissue of paraphysoids ca 1.5 µm diam, sometimes overlaid apically by a tracery of brown walled polygonal cells. Asci 74-100 x 13-18 µm. Ascospores 18-28 x 8-9.5 µm, complex muriform, (3-)5-7(-8) septate and with 0-3 longitudinal or oblique septa per segment.
