Anamorph: Dothichiza sp. Conidiomata to 250 µm diam, pycnidial, black, erumpent on natural substrate, gregarious to crowded. Conidia 3-5 x 1 µm.
Teleomorph: stromata to 250 µm diam., unilocular, globose, gregarious to crowded. Ascomata as a single locule within the stroma to 100 µm diam. Asci 65-90 x 10-14 µm, arising from a slight dome-shaped basal cushion. Ascospores (14-)18-25 x 4-6 µm, narrowly ellipsoidal, ± symmetrical, hyaline, with 1-3 transverse septa, longitudinal septa absent, not constricted at the septa.
