SUMMARY

Anamorph: not known.
Teleomorph: stromata on the host surface as flattened conical pustules with a small central cluster of ostioles, entostromata isolate to pustulate-effuse, dorsal zone dipping into the bark, ventral zone definitely present in bark or wood. Ascomata 320-640 x 240-480 µm, definitely clustered in the pustulate areas and collectively erumpent, ostioles short, stout and barely erumpent. Asci 60-70 x 10-12 µm, clavate. Ascospores 13.5-19 x 4-6.5 µm, fusiform-ellipsoidal, usually inequilateral or curved, not or only slightly constricted at the septum.
