Diaporthe tulasnei

Anamorph: Phomopsis tulasnei (Sacc.) Sacc. (1906). Conidiomata ca 200 µm diam. Conidiogenous cells 15-18 x 1.5 µm. Alpha-conidia 7-8 x 2.5-3 µm.

Teleomorph: stromata with host surface heavily blackened over wide areas, ventral zone definite in wood. Ascomata scattered singly, ostioles short and spine-like. Asci 60 x 6-7 µm. Ascospores 11-13 x 2.5-3 µm.

Wehmeyer considered this to belong within the D. arctii aggregate.
