SUMMARY

Anamorph: Phomopsis stictica (Berk. & Broome) Traverso (1906). Conidiomata 200-270 µm diam. Alpha-conidia 5-8 x 2.5-3.5 µm.
Teleomorph: stromata with surface of host bark irregularly blackened, mainly around the erumpent ostioles, ventral zone present. Ascomata scattered singly or in small groups, often collectively erumpent. Ascospores 11-13 x 2-3 µm.
Wehmeyer considered this to belong within the D. eres aggregate.
