Teleomorph: stromata on host surface as circular to fusoid, pustulate discs 0.2-1 mm diam, consisting of a compact cluster of ostioles, discs not strongly erumpent, entostroma strongly differentiated, pustulate areas sometimes confluent and appearing ± evenly effuse. Ascomata 320-640 x 240-400 µm, usually clustered, sometimes irregularly crowded, often causing pustulate swellings of the entostroma, collectively erumpent, the ostioles short, stout, cylindric, punctate.
