SUMMARY

Anamorph: Phomopsis incrustans (Sacc.) Höhn. (1906). Conidiogenous cells 20 µm long. Alpha-conidia 8-9 x 2 µm.
Teleomorph: stromata with surface of bark heavily blackened, ventral zone definitely present. Ascomata scattered singly or occasionally in crowded clusters in the bark or wood. Ascospores 10-12 x 2.5-3.5 µm.
Wehmeyer considered this to belong within the D. eres aggregate.
