SUMMARY

Anamorph: not known.
Teleomorph: stromata on the host surface as conical erumpent pustules 0.5-1.5 mm diam., with a central, crowded, disc-like grouping of ostioles, pustules internally light-coloured, entostroma pustulate-effuse, dorsal zone dipping to the wood around each perithecial cluster. Ascomata 450-600 x 320-400 µm, definitely clustered in the pustulate areas of the bark. Asci 95-130 x 11-16 µm, clavate, with a refractive apical ring. Ascospores 12-16.5 x 6.5-9.5 µm, widely ellipsoidal, slightly constricted, with a large guttule in each cell.
