Anamorph: unknown.

Teleomorph: stromata with dorsal blackening continuous or irregular on the host surface, but usually masked by the periderm, ventral zone present or absent. Ascomata scattered singly or sometimes loosely grouped. Ascospores 12-14(-16) x 2.5-4 µm.

Wehmeyer considered this to belong within the D. arctii aggregate.
