Anamorph: not known.
Teleomorph: Stromata with host surface heavily blackened and somewhat raised above the surrounding areas, ventral zone definite. Ascomata scattered singly or crowded, ostioles short stout-conical and erumpent singly. Ascospores 11-13 x 2.5-3.5 µm.
Wehmeyer considered this to belong with D. arctii.
