SUMMARY

Anamorph: not known.
Teleomorph: Stromata forming widely effuse and irregularly blackened areas on the host surface which are often exposed by the falling away of the host periderm, ventral zone definitely present. Ascomata 320-480 x 160-320 µm, scattered singly and separately erumpent, ostioles fine-cylindrical and somewhat elongated. Asci 40-50 x 6-7 µm, clavate. Ascospores 11-12 x 2-2.5(-3) µm.
