Teleomorph: Stromata 150-200 µm diam., unilocular, erumpent mostly on the upper leaf sufaces and at the margins. Ascomata formed a locule within the stroma, without conspicuous ostioles. Interascal tissue present only as remnants of compressed interascal pseudoparenchyma. Asci 50-90 x (14-)18-22 µm, cylindrical-clavate to saccate with a foot-shaped base, thick-walled, J-, 16- to 32-spored, arising parallel to each other from the entire base of the locule.
