SUMMARY
Anamorph: not known.
Teleomorph: ascomata apothecia, 500-1500 µm diam., usually gregarious, pale yellow to orange, at first cupulate and sometimes later becoming discoid to lenticular, sessile. Peridium of thin-walled angular to globose cells 25-30 µ diam., the marginal cells elongate, 6.0-8.0 X 12-14 µm with somewhat thickened, slightly yellowish walls. Interascal tisue of simple filiform septate paraphyses 1.5-2.5 µm diam. with numerous yellowish oil guttules in the cytoplasm, inflated at the apices to 4-5 µm diam. and slightly curved. Asci 90-150 X 11-21 µm, cylindrical to cylindric-clavate, rounded above and tapering below, 8-spored. Ascospores mostly uniseriately arranged, 13.5-18 X (7-) 9-11 µm, broadly ellipsoid, smooth, hyaline to slightly yellowish, each with one de Bary bubble, without a gelatinous sheath or perispore.
