SUMMARY
Anamorph: not known.
Teleomorph: ascomata apothecia, 200-800 (1400) µm diam., scattered, initially broadly cylindrical to discoid and becoming cupulate, pale yellow to orange, darkening on drying, the margins more strongly pigmented than the hymenium. Peridium composed of angular to globose somewhat thick-walled cells 10-20 µm diam., the marginal cells 8-12 x 4-5 µm, elongate. Interascal tissue of simple or sparingly branched filiform septate paraphyses 1-2 µm diam., slightly curved above with the apices enlarged to ca 3.5 µm, filled with numerous small yellow guttules. Asci 55-95 (-105) X (9-) 10-15 µm, broadly cylindrical to cylindric-clavate, rounded above, with a short stipe, 8-spored. Ascospores mostly uniseriately arranged, 8-10.5 (-12) x 5-7 µm, ellipsoidal, hyaline, thin-walled, each with one de Bary bubble, with an evanescent gelatinous sheath.
