SUMMARY
Anamorph: conidiomata pycnidia, 150-180 µm diam., black, hemispherical, immersed beneath the host cuticle, the ostiole not papillate, very inconspicuous. Upper wall to ca 10 µm thick (in addition to the cuticle), composed of small dark-walled globose to angular cells. Lower wall 20-25 µm thick, the cells largely occluded. Paraphyses interspersed among the conidiophores, 4-5 µm diam., cylindrical, hyaline, indistinctly septate. Conidiophores ± cylindrical, short, hyaline, smooth. Conidiogenous cells 5-7 x 3-4 µm, terminal or intercalary, ± cylindrical to ampulliform, tapering towards a truncate apex with inconspicuous periclinal thickening, collarettes not seen. Conidia solitary, 19.5-22 x 3-3.8 µm, cylindrical, the apex rounded and the base slightly tapering with a minute scar, with large guttules, thin- and smooth-walled, without appendages or a gelatinous sheath.
