Family: DrepanopezizaceaeGenus: Blumeriella
SUMMARY
Anamorph: conidiomata acervular, visible on both leaf surfaces but at least mostly sporulating on the upper side; lesions 250-450 µm diam., occupying spaces between veins and therefore often angular scattered or occasionally aggregated into larger spots, dark brown. Conidiomata 100-150 µm diam., subepidermal, with irregular dehiscence, the upper wall composed of thin-walled pale brown angular cells. Conidiophores absent. Conidiogenous cells 12-18 x 2.5-3.5 µm, shortly cylindrical amd hardly tapering except near the apex, proliferating both sympodially and percurrently, sympodial proliferation with 1-2 broad lateral scars, percurrent proliferation showing a minute collarette. Conidia 62-75 x ca 3 µm (45-94 x 1.4-5.6 μm fide Robinson et al. 2017), cylindrical or very gradually tapering towards the apex, usually curved, the base truncate, thin-walled, mostly with three ± equidistant and very narrow septa, smooth, without a perispore or gelatinous sheath.
Teleomorph: no information available.
