Anamorph: conidiomata pycnidia, immersed, the walls hyaline. Conidia 28-50 (-60) × 1-1.5 μm, filiform, thinly 3- to 7-septate, ± straight, without a gelatinous sheath or appendages.

True exciple hyaline, K± pale yellowish, of radiating hyphae and sometimes with ellipsoidal cells <2 μm diam., but some cells to 4 μm diam. at the outer edge. Hymenium 35-50 μm high, hyaline or with the upper part pale yellow-brown, K± yellow. Hypothecium colourless. Interascal tissue of simple unbranched paraphyses 1-1.5 μm diam., the apices sometimes clavate, to 3 μm diam.
