Anamorph: Phomopsis-like with conidia 8-10 x 3 µm.
Teleomorph: Stromata as numerous minute pustulate ruptures, usually containing 1-4 ascomata. Ascomata 200-350 µm diam.; necks 30-40 µm wide, narrowly filiform, sometimes transversely flattened, separate or convergent. Asci 30-45 x 4-8 µm. Ascospores 9-11 x 2-2.5 µm, tardily septate, without appendages.
